What is the crushing ratio of the crusher?

Many people will say: the ratio of the stone specifications before crushing to the stone specifications after crushing. Generally speaking, the larger the crushing ratio, the stronger the processing capacity of the crusher.

is that so? Generally speaking, this is indeed the case, but what is the specific calculation method of the crushing ratio, and how to calculate the crushing ratio of different equipment? Below we give you detailed answers:

There are professional calculation methods for crushing ratio, which are divided into three types according to different situations:

01 Particle size crushing ratio: Ratio of large particle size before and after crushing

Calculation formula: 1=larger diameter of incoming material/larger diameter of finished product

Due to different habits, the large-grained straightening methods are different. In Britain and the United States, the width of the sieve holes that allows 80% of the material to pass through the sieve holes is the large particle size diameter. The Soviet Union and I use the width of the sieve holes that allows 95% of the material to pass through the sieve holes as the diameter of the large particle size.

Application object: This calculation method is often used in quarries, because the width of the crusher feed port must be determined according to the size of the ore during design.

02Surface crushing ratio: the ratio of the crusher inlet width to the outlet width

Calculation formula: 1=0.85B/S (here refers to the inlet width/discharge width)

0.85 is the width coefficient of the crusher to accommodate materials. The value S of the width of the discharge port: The coarse crusher is different from the medium and fine crusher. The former takes a larger width; the latter takes a smaller width.

Application objects: Since this method does not require screening and analysis of large quantities of materials, approximate calculations can be made up to the width of the crusher's inlet and outlet. It is simple and fast, so it is widely used in production.

03Average crushing ratio: the ratio of the average particle size of materials before and after crushing

Calculation formula: 1=average particle size of material before crushing/average particle size of material after crushing

Application objects: Since the ores before and after crushing are of different sizes and shapes, the average particle size can best represent them. Therefore, the crushing ratio calculated with the average particle size can more truly reflect the degree of crushing, so it is mostly used in theoretical research. use.

Three calculation methods for crushing ratio

Based on the calculation methods of the above three crushing ratios, you can quickly calculate the crusher of the crusher. The ones with larger crushing ratios on the market include jaw crushers, cone crushers, impact crushers, and hammer crushers. Among them Hammer crushers are particularly special.

The hammer crusher has the advantage of one-time molding, its crushing ratio is very large, the feed is large stones, and the output is finished materials, which reduces investment costs, has good particle shape and high uniformity, and is favored by users.
