Description

BF series flotation machine is a kind of mechanical agitation flotation equipment, is an upgraded type of SF flotation machine, mainly used in iron ore and other minerals with a large proportion. The main feature of BF type flotation machine is to maintain the advantages of self-suction air and pulp of "A" type flotation machine, without ladder configuration, and no foam pump is required for the return of middle ore. With the characteristics of large suction capacity, low impeller speed, large gap between impeller and cover plate, light wear, etc., it can be used for metal ore (gold, silver, molybdenum, etc.), non-metallic ore (fluorite, quartz stone, limestone, etc.) material selection and treatment. The use of this type of flotation machine can facilitate the flow arrangement, especially suitable for the small and medium-sized sorting plant with complex flow and many separate sections.

Working Principle

The ground ore, when or after grinding, is mixed with water and the necessary agents into a slurry by mixing tank, injected into the slurry tank that begins to stir, introduce air into the slurry, so that it forms a large number of bubbles, some mineral particles that are not easy to be moistened by water, that is, generally called hydrophobic, are attached to the bubble, and float to the surface of the slurry with the bubble, forming a mineralized bubble layer. Some other mineral particles that are easily moistened by water, that is, generally called hydrophilic, are not attached to the bubbles, but remain in the pulp, and the mineralized bubbles containing specific minerals are discharged, so as to achieve the purpose of mineral processing.
