Screening efficiency directly affects production efficiency. The following are 8 operating tips to improve the screening efficiency of roller screens:
(1) Increase the opening rate of the vibrating screen plate. A high opening rate is conducive to improving screening efficiency; usually, stainless steel welded screen plates have a higher opening rate and can be used in mobile crushers.
(2) Adjust the feed mode. In some cases, the feed of the vibrating screen does not follow the entire screen width, which will inevitably lead to the screen surface being underutilized.
(3) In order to reduce the slurry hole ratio on the vibrating screen surface, self-cleaning screen plates such as spring rod screen fine grinders can be considered.
(4) If conditions permit, consider adjusting the inclination angle of the vibrating screen. Appropriate tilt angle helps reduce material thickness, such as screen hammer sander with thin material layer.
(5) If conditions permit, wet screening is a good means to improve screening efficiency, such as high-pressure mill.
(6) For circular vibrating screens, you can consider adjusting the counterweight to improve screening efficiency.
(7) For dry screening, the feed moisture should be strictly controlled. When the moisture content is too high, compound damage from component screening can be considered.
(8) If conditions permit, a fixed screen should be added to the feed end of the vibrating screen to carry out a mobile crushing station for coarse screening.
2. Other measures:
(1) Daily patrol inspection contents of roller screen:
1. The temperature of the reducer chassis. 2. Temperature of reducer bearings. 3. The reducer vibrates. 4. The sound of the reducer running. 5. Leakage of the reducer. 6. Whether the nylon pin on the coupling is broken. 7. Lining wear. 8. Operation condition of screen shaft.
(2) Application maintenance:
1. The roller screen installation system operates interlockingly with the system. When starting up, start the coal screening machine first and then start the conveyor belt conveyor. When shutting down, stop the belt conveyor first and then stop the coal screening machine. The principle is interlocking operation.
2. It is forbidden to start the machine under load. Before each shutdown, you must check that there is no material on the screen surface before stopping the machine.
3. This equipment uses a reducer and a motor together, and the motor is protected by overheating relay protection.
4. When the screen shaft is stuck by iron, wood and other miscellaneous materials, the pin on the coupling will be cut off and the screen shaft will stop rotating.
(3) Things to note:
1. When opening the observation door of the roller screen box, prevent objects from falling into the screen.
2. Do not approach the rotating parts of the equipment.
3. It is prohibited to wipe or clean the equipment during operation.
Through the reasonable and standardized installation, debugging and operation of the roller screen, the classification efficiency of the high-speed vibrating screen can be improved, the service life of the vibrating screen can be extended, and the labor intensity of the staff can be reduced.
